Waruder (ワルダー, Warudā) is a mysterious killer robot hired by Big Shadow to destroy 01.
Overview[]
Waruder is a master of swordsmanship with Combat Circuit (闘争回路, Tōsō Kairo) on his head. However, he will not act unless he is convinced. He can't get his hands on women and children, so he helps Bijinder and children many times. Because he cannot distinguish between right and wrong, Waruder is not friendly with dogs, because of their behavior which "barks at bad people, bites thieves, and is able to judge right and wrong". Since he was rescued from the crisis, he falls in love with Bijinder (also Mari), who is also conflicted between good and evil, and correspond. Also, he loves the flute.
Although he is SHADOW's hired robot, Waruder sometimes fights against Hakaider and SHADOW's robots in order to protect those who give him heart. Equipped with two Energy Conversion Devices (エネルギー転換装置, Enerugī Tenkan Sōchi), one of which he gave up to help Bijinder with a broken Conversion Device. He also has the ability to see inside the human body. If he lose the Energy Circuit (エネルギー回路, Enerugī Kairo), he can only live for one week.
After giving his own Energy Circuit and Fujin Murasame to save Bijinder in episode 45 (however, Fuujin Murasame was used by 01 in the ronin samurai robot battle), he challenged 01, who was helped by Bijinder, to the final game and died in an explosion.
Equipment[]
Waruder's weapon Super Staff Gun (超槍銃, Chōsōjū) can be used as a machine gun or a weight staff, and a sword is also included. Although he has swords, Muramasa Raijin (雷神村正, Raijin Muramasa) and Murasame Fujin (風神村雨, Fūjin Murasame), which are said to have been handed down from generation to generation in the Waruder family, it only appeared once, and Muramasa Raijin was the only one who being used as a weapon.

Waruder appears as a playable character with Kikaider, Kikaider 01, and Bjinder, in the Sony PlayStation crossover strategy game Super Tokusatsu Taisen 2001.

Waruder's voice was provided by Takeshi Watabe (渡部 猛, Watabe Takeshi). His suit actor is unknown.

- Like Hakaider and Bijinder, Waruder's name is a play on a Japanese word. In this instance, "Waru" means evil.
