Jiro is the title character of the manga Kikaider 02, he is an android created by Dr. Komyoji possessing an incomplete Conscience Circuit in order to make Jiro more human by giving him emotions. But as he was left incomplete by being considered a failure, he was left vacant until awakened time later to protect Hinano Komyoji.
Character History[]
Jiro was created as the second generation android of Dr. Komyoji after the prototype Kikaider 01 could not be complete, Jiro was named based on Dr. Komyoji's late Ichiro Komyoji. Jiro however was considered a failure as his Conscience Circuit could not be completed. He was given programming to protect Hinano Komyoji if she were ever in danger. Upon awakening, Jiro meets Dr. Komyoji's older daughter Mitsuko and bonds with her over time.
